Melsungen/Kassel, January 25, 2022: The business operations of Gebrüder Gläser Maschinen – und Vorrichtungsbau GmbH & Co. KG were taken over by MTO Nordhessen CNC GmbH on January 1, 2022.
The transfer took place as part of a transferring reorganization, which was initiated by insolvency administrator and lawyer Jutta Rüdlin, partner at BRRS Rechtsanwälte.
On January 1, 2022, Jutta Rüdlin was appointed insolvency administrator over the assets of Gebrüder Gläser Maschinen- und Vorrichtungsbau GmbH & Co. KG were appointed. The company had already been continued under her direction in preliminary insolvency proceedings since October 25, 2021. Since mid-November 2021, it had been in takeover negotiations with two potential investors, which ultimately resulted in the transfer to the new operator at the turn of the year. According to the administrator, the cooperation with the management and employees was very good and formed the basis for the successful restructuring.
All jobs were saved
On January 25, 2022, the first creditors’ meeting was held at the Local Court of Kassel – Insolvency Court – at which the creditors gave their approval to the takeover of the business and the associated asset deal. The transfer means that all jobs in Kassel can be preserved.
