Hamburg, 29 April 2022: The North German Insolvency Law Day organised by the North German Insolvency Law Forum Hamburg took place in Hamburg on 28 and 29 April 2022.
BRRS partner Jutta Rüdlin addressed the audience during the panel discussion on ‘Scope and content of business management standards or best practices for insolvency administration and restructuring’.
Head of the Business Administration Committee at the VID
Rüdlin is the spokesperson for the Advisory Board of the German Association of Insolvency Administrators and Trustees (VID) and has headed the Business Administration Committee there since May 2021. It became clear that, despite all the theory, administrators and advisors often encounter very unprepared companies in practice who, even in an already advanced crisis, work with poorly prepared figures that are far from the desired standards.
In this context, Rüdlin pointed out that the VID’s Business Administration Committee has developed audit recommendations for a simplified determination of insolvency. The aim is to give managing directors and entrepreneurs better guidance and thus to be able to utilise restructuring opportunities immediately before and during the crisis better than before.
