Save the date – BRRS hosts virtual event with Prof. Dr. Florian Jacoby on tax advisor liability

Hamburg, December 13, 2021: The decision of the Federal Court of Justice of January 26, 2017 (IX ZR 285/14) on tax advisor liability will be five years old in 2022.

We at BRRS want to take this as an opportunity to take stock of how this decision has been handled in practice and how it has proven itself.

Prof. Dr. Florian Jacoby, a proven expert on the subject, has been engaged as a lecturer. He holds the Chair of Civil Law, Civil Procedure, Insolvency and Corporate Law at the University of Bielefeld and is co-editor of the Jacoby/Thole STARUG commentary.

At the event with Prof. Dr. Florian Jacoby, we at BRRS would like to shed light on and discuss the neuralgic points at which practice has struggled in the last five years, for example with regard to temporal applicability, causality, contributory negligence, damages and the statute of limitations.

Discuss with us and the speaker!

The virtual event will be moderated by BRRS partner Joachim Büttner.
